Out-of-Class Experience

An ongoing collection of my experiences outside of the classroom

Extracurriculars

On Campus Internship

For one of my classes, I completed a semester-long internship where I assisted in the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement (CIEGE). During a five-week period, where I interned for an hour and a half a week minimum, I worked alongside a peer to assist the associate director in putting together educational documents to help guide international students through the process of attending an American University. As a part of the class project, I also showcased these documents and described my experience interning at CIEGE to members and faculty of the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences.

Student Organizations

I am involved in several student organizations on campus, including our branch of PRSSA, Baptist Campus Ministry, and Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru).

I am also involved in many other activities in my free time. I run, workout at the student rec center (including participating in workout classes), play guitar, and I am currently teaching myself photography.

Sports + Clubs

I swam competitively, on both the club and high school team, from 7th grade to Sophomore year of high school. I also swam on the high school team my Senior year. I also taught swim lessons for the club team during this time.

Volunteer Experiences
